A MAZE. Chain Zine
Remember the days when people sent letters/emails with some kind of instructions to one another
and then send it to the next person? We reintroduced a version of it with the A MAZE. Chain Zine in the weeks before A MAZE. / Berlin - Total Digital.

We invited people to collaboratively create a zine with Nathalie Lawhead’s Electric Zine Maker. We've sent out instructions to people on different continents who worked on a page and then send it off to the next person of their choice. We hoped the pages would travel far and wide giving us a glimpse of the world and creators in it
before coming back to A MAZE.

Completed zines have returned! In this session we have invited people from around the world who took part in our A MAZE. Chain Zine experiment and talk a bit more about the zines, the pages and the creators!

Devolution of Baba Is You
Devolution of Baba Is You - Exhibition Tour with Arvi Teikari
For the ultimate insight into the development of Baba Is You and its design decisions. Guided tour through the exhibited versions of the game (http://6.devolution.online) by the developer Arvi “Hempuli” Teikari, supported by the co-curator of Devolution Mascha Camino. Complementing the Devolution exhibition with background information, secrets and anecdotes.
Baba Is You is a puzzle game where you can change the rules by which you play. In every level, the rules themselves are present as blocks you can interact with; by manipulating them, you can change how the level works and cause surprising, unexpected interactions. With some simple block-pushing you can turn yourself into a rock, turn patches of grass into dangerously hot obstacles, and even change the goal.
The exhibition tours are part of Devolution #6 (http://6.devolution.online), a cooperation between Arvi Teikari, Devolution, A. MAZE. / Berlin 2020 and Game Design // UE.

Devolution of Dicey Dungeons
Devolution of Dicey Dungeons - Exhibition Tour with Terry Cavanagh
