Mary Ocher
Born in the capital of the biggest country in the world, just two years after 1984. Mary's work deals heavily with displacement, migration, authority, critique of nationalism and militarism. Having toured 30 countries with recent album "The West Against The People" (released alongside a
sociopolitical essay on Klangbad,
H.J. Irmler's label (of Krautrock pioneers
Faust)), Mary is currently working on two albums parallel with many collaborators (
Mogwai's
Barry Burns, composer
Roberto Cacciapaglia and others) and Mercury Award Winning producer
Mike Lindsay (
Tunng). Among previous collaborations:
Felix Kubin, King Khan, Julia Kent, Die Toedliche Doris.
